USAGE
Burn one stick at a time, placing it on the top ridges, just like in the picture.
Light the stick first and then lay it on the omni, over the ridges. The stick needs air and space below it to burn.
Use stick type of approximately 70mm length.
Clean ash after each use and regularly clean resin build-up left by the stick.
Place out of direct sunlight if you would like to avoid UV discoloration.
CARE
The sand will brown at the points of contact with the incense, as is the nature of the effects of fire on organic material.
The stick can be pressed down at the bottom to lift it over the ridges to reduce this effect.
If a build-up of incense resin occurs, it will inhibit the burning.
Clean the resin after use with hot water [not boiling] and dish detergent, using a scourer or hard brush.
Steel wool or anything hard and sharp should be avoided. This can leave scratches and potentially damage the surface.
To remove dust, we recommend using a soft brush.

THIS EDITION

This product, a Horse Skin Whalet, was originally made in 2010 in our studio in Iceland from chromium tanned Icelandic horse skin. To update this item for the year 2022, it is now made in Portugal by our partner The Last Conspiracy, a Danish brand, from regional vegetable tanned horse skin, laser beams and human energy.
The design has not been altered from the original version. The same legacy cutting file is used to drive the laser's servo mechanisms. Whalet is cut from a single piece pattern that a person folds into shape creating sleeves to hold the cards of identification and digitized or printed currency.
The edges are blackened from carbon as a result of the awesome power of the 100watt CO2 laser, focused through a German glass lens, at wickedly hot degrees celcius defined by a combination of power and speed. A lower power beam is used to engrave the object text.
Laser-burn aesthetic and olfaction featured strongly in the studio work during this period.
This is a wallet for a digital age currency, for cards, and bills. There is no coin section.
